A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Merchandiser to join our dynamic, diverse & forward-thinking Merchandising Team based at BEAUTY BAY HQ in Exchange Quay.
As part of our Merchandising Team, you will be excited by the opportunity to play your part in bringing BEAUTY BAY products from concept to actual repeatable sales using your forecasting, planning, and analytical skills.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the NPD, Merchandising, Marketing & Trading Teams to implement a clear market position.
* Manage longer lead critical paths to minimize launch risks and maintain high stock availability.
* Manage stock to achieve plans, supporting operational efficiency with clear management of critical paths to maximize sales & reduce terminal stock.
* Oversee WSSI management, ensuring sales maximization and markdown cost reduction.
* Develop promotional events in conjunction with marketing & markdown plans to meet strategy & KPI’s.
* Analyze, interpret & present insights and recommendations based on MI/market data to SLT.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to manage the launch of new products & limited edition collections.
* Plan assortments to establish clear options/buy quantities to maximize sales & profit.
* Conduct seasonal reviews & strategic pre-season planning.
* Coach & develop junior team members to optimize category sales & margin while minimizing stock risk.
About you
* Ability to collaborate across departments within BEAUTY BAY.
* A minimum of 6 years' experience in Merchandising, including online retail experience.
* Extensive stock management experience is essential.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
* Experience with critical path management.
* Excellent analytical & numerical skills.
* Strong written & verbal communication skills.
* Experience in online/e-commerce retail is desirable.
* Confidence to influence stakeholders.
* Previous experience coaching and developing junior team members.
