Trade Counter Assistant / Driver
Eurocell, a stock‑market listed PLC and the market leader for uPVC products within the building industry, is seeking a dedicated Trade Counter Assistant / Driver to support branch operations and sales.
Hours
44 hours per week. Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 4:30 pm; Saturday 8:00 am – 12:00 pm on a rotating roster.
Salary & Bonus
Basic yearly salary £29,080.48. Realistic total earnings potential up to £32,680.48 per year.

Responsibilities
* Drive trade counter sales to achieve targets and confidently communicate product knowledge to customers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers.
* Picking, loading and delivering products to customers via Eurocell’s 3.5‑tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans.
* Plan routes, drive safely, and keep the company vehicle clean.
* Support the Branch Manager with on‑time, on‑budget actions and activities.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety, company policies and procedures.
* Maintain excellence in customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets.
* Assist with delivery of branch operations and support colleagues as required.
* Maintain branch standards, including warehouse and stock management, front‑of‑house cleanliness and point‑of‑sale.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets.
* Hands‑on, customer‑focused approach, confident and happy to serve and proactively engage future customers.
* Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and use own initiative.
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry‑standard software such as SAP.
* A full and valid driving licence is essential; a FLT licence would be an advantage.
* Previous branch stock‑take experience would be an advantage.
* Comfortable working in a small team and occasionally alone.
* Experience within a similar role, ideally in a trade, builders merchant, retail, glazing or uPVC environment.
