We are looking for a Direct Support Associate (DSA) to join our Community Based Services team! This program supports individuals with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs living within our residential homes.
Schedule
Part-time, 23 hours a week.
* Sunday 7a-3p
* Monday 10a-3p
* Tuesday 10a-3p
* Wednesday 10a-3p

Pay
$24.00 per hour.
Opportunity to attend paid internal NADSP training to become a certified Direct Support Professional which leads to career advancement and pay increases.
Responsibilities
* Support clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration
* Assist with lifting, transferring, and mobility support
* Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry
* Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities, appointments, and community events
* Follow each individual's care plan
* All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety
* Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet
* Other duties as needed or assigned
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED
* Must be 18 years of age or older
* Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred)
* Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
