We are seeking a driven and enterprising Retail Manager to lead Claridges on site retail outlet and team.

Claridges has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the Foyer & Reading Room, LEpicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridges Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painters Room.
As Retail Manager at Claridges, you will be responsible for:
* The general day to day running of Claridges Shop.
* Leading a small team of 1-2 people including seasonal temporary employees.
* Reporting daily revenues.
* Assisting guests and customers with their queries and facilitating personalised purchases;
* Providing shopping advice and recommendations, wrapping and presenting products for our guests and customers;
* Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors;
* Overseeing and managing stock levels
* Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times;
* Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional;
Successful candidates for our Retail Manageropportunity will:
* Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridges and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service;
* Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories;
* Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or luxury retail environment;
* You will have a passion for luxury and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed;
* Be fluent in spoken and written English;
* Demonstrate the ability to work in a pressured environment with the most demanding guests during festivity period and weekends;
* Knowledge of Excel, Micros and Adaco systems would be advantageous.
