Chef– Golf Club Café & Functions
Location: Bulwell Hall Golf Club, Nottingham
Contract: Part time permanent role hours per week.
Salary: 12.50 Per hour
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced cook with strong kitchen experience or chef to join our team at Bulwell Hall Golf Club. Our café and bar serve freshly prepared food to members, guests, and visitors, with a focus on quality, value, and a welcoming atmosphere. In addition to our daily café menu, we also offer Sunday roast lunches and cater for a variety of small functions and events periodically throughout the year.
The Role
* Kitchen opening and closing preparation work
* Preparing and cooking café breakfast, lunch menu items and Sunday roasts.
* Efficiently managing stock and placing orders for fresh produce.
* Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant kitchen in line with health and safety guidelines.
* Supporting smooth service during busy periods and ensuring consistency in quality.
* Contributing ideas to develop the café and function offering.
* Some covering holidays for other chefs will be required
About You
* Previous experience working in a busy Kitchen (2 years)
* Able to manage multiple orders
* Comfortable preparing traditional dishes, including roast dinners.
* Organised, reliable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Basic Food hygiene knowledge (Level 2)
* Flexible to work weekends and occasional evenings for events.
* Professionalism and reliability
* Remain calm under pressure
