Job Description
3. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence to a high standard.
4. Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for legal professionals.
5. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and telephone calls.
6. Maintain accurate client records and organise case files efficiently.
7. Assist with billing processes, including preparing invoices and tracking payments.
8. Provide administrative support for legal research and case preparation.
9. Ensure compliance with office procedures and confidentiality requirements.
10. Support the wider secretarial and business support team as needed.
11. Dictation as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Secretary should have:
12. Proven experience in a secretarial or administrative role within a law firm
13. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
14. Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
15. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing documents.
16. Confident and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
17. A proactive attitude with a focus on providing exceptional support.
