* Our Occupational Therapy Service consistently achieves high performance, reflecting the dedication of our team to delivering a responsive, high‑quality service for Northumberland residents.
* Community work is diverse and stimulating, offering opportunities to undertake everything from assessments for basic and complex equipment and minor adaptations to major adaptations and manual handling assessments and recommendations.
* You will work with adults across Northumberland who experience functional challenges related to physical disabilities, mental health conditions, or learning disabilities. This variety makes the role both interesting and deeply rewarding.
* The post holder will be based at Eddie Ferguson House in Blyth, with the flexibility to work agile from home and other NCC sites across the county, as agreed with your manager.
* Our teams include Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technical Instructors, and qualified Occupational Therapists. We share office space with wider Adult Social Care services and the Northumberland Short Term Support Service, ensuring you have a multidisciplinary team around you.
* We are strengthening links with local Primary Care Networks to enhance services for residents and maintain close relationships with residential care homes through a programme of regular reviews.

Qualifications
* Degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Role Details
* Fixed‑term position until May 2027, full time within the South Northumberland Team, based at Eddie Ferguson House in Blyth.
* Salary Band 7 (NCC), with a range of £35,412 – £39,152.
* Equivalent to NHS Band 5.
