Our client Relinea, specialising in the design, fabrication and installation of bespoke GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) products including platforms, walkways, handrails, stair systems and industrial flooring, are seeking a GRP Fabricator to join their team on a Permanent basis, based in Crumlin. Their lightweight, corrosion-resistant systems are used across construction, water/wastewater, rail and power sectors. Responsibilities
* Fabrication and assembly of GRP platforms, walkways and stair systems.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings.
* Measuring, marking out and calculating dimensions accurately.
* Cutting and shaping materials to specification.
* Using power tools safely and efficiently.
* Working closely with production and installation teams.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in fabrication or a similar hands-on trade (e.g. joinery, fitter, metal fabrication, construction fabrication).
* Ability to read technical drawings and work from measurements.
* Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
* Competent in using power tools including:
* Chop saws.
* Drills.
* Jigsaws
* Grinders.
* Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills.
* Reliable with a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
