Senior Management Accountant (HYBRID) needed in Wareham, £51,935 Per Annum- Reference: 5274827
You will be a key member of the team which has responsibility for the financial reporting of a company, group of companies, or one of Asters divisions, including, but not limited to;

o Production and review of monthly management and assisting with annual statutory accounts
o Responsibility for accurate preparation of budgets and forecasts
o Preparation and presentation of financial reports and liaison with budget holders and other stakeholders external to finance to discuss and review
o Maintaining a high level of technical accounting knowledge to ensure that accounts are prepared correctly and in line with the relevant accounting standards.
o Ensure all reporting deadlines are met without exception
o Manage workload, delivery and development of management and assistant management accountants
o Responsibility for balance sheet reconciliations
o Journal processing, including ensuring the correct accounting of accruals and prepayments
o Review of assistant management accounts work to ensure accuracy
o Interrogation of financial systems to identify errors and make corrections
o Variance analysis
o Ad-hoc reporting and analysis
o Identify opportunities for improvements and challenge the status quo
o External returns and reporting
This is a full time role on apermanent basis
