Location: Bristol + Plymouth, Devon + Warrington, Cheshire + Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute + Hybrid Working Arrangements

Compensation: Up to £50, depending on Experience + Benefits

The role

As a Technical and Business Support Specialist, you’ll have a great opportunity if you're looking to grow your career within a dynamic and highly regulated engineering environment. You’ll gain exposure to senior stakeholders, play a vital role in supporting our engineering community, and develop expertise that will boost your professional and personal growth.

Day-to-day, you’ll play a key role in driving the successful delivery of improvement projects that shape the future of our Nuclear Sector Engineering capability. You’ll be the central connector across the team, providing structured programme and technical support, ensuring documentation is accurate and accessible, and helping coordinate change activities that support wider engineering strategy and compliance.

1. Engaging with engineering stakeholders to progress tasks, solve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
2. Coordinating business improvement projects and activities across the Engineering Capability function.
3. Supporting work stream owners in the development and delivery of the necessary project artefacts to support their delivery.
4. Owning and managing internal administration processes, including ownership and administration of the Team’s SharePoint content and records management.
5. Assembling and publishing progress updates and performance reports for Engineering Capability activities.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with a minimum of 2 days in the office/onsite.

Essential experience of the Technical and Business Support Specialist

6. Technical support and business administration experience, particularly in change processes (policy, practice, procedure).
7. Experience working within a highly regulated industry.
8. Ability to manage, engage and influence senior stakeholders across multiple teams.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy within a compliance‑focused environment.

Qualifications for the Technical and Business Support Specialist
