About the role This is a varied and fast-paced position within a supportive Savings team, where accuracy, organisation, and customer service are key. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding experience to customers, ensuring all savings and deposit activities are handled efficiently and compliantly. Key responsibilities include: Processing new customer onboarding and account openings (including AML checks) Managing money in/out transactions and account updates Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and post Supporting deposit account administration including closures, maturities, and reconciliations Maintaining accurate records and audit trails Assisting with general office administration and operational tasks This role offers excellent exposure across multiple areas including onboarding, compliance, and banking operations—perfect for someone looking to grow their career. What we are looking for The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering excellent service. Key skills and experience: MUST HAVE PREVIOUS BANKING EXPERIENCE. Understanding of AML/KYC processes (highly desirable) Strong administrative and data entry skills Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a team-focused approach are essential.
