Role: Supply Teacher Location: Taunton Contract: Flexible, supply basis (opportunities for permanent vacancies) Start: June 2025 Long-Term Teachers are currently seeking an experienced and adaptable Supply Teacher to work in a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Somerset, catering for students aged 10 - 16. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact on young lives within a small, nurturing educational environment. While a specialism in Science is preferred, experienced teachers from other disciplines are also encouraged to apply. About the role: This is a supply teaching role within a high-support, therapeutic school setting that offers tailored learning pathways to students with SEMH needs. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to small groups of students, many of whom may present with complex behaviours and additional needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent classroom management, emotional intelligence and the ability to quickly form positive, professional relationships with students. You’ll be supported by a collaborative and skilled multidisciplinary team who share a commitment to every student’s personal and academic growth.
