Job Description
The Finance Analyst will have a wide range of duties including:
* Providing financial analysis and support to the Accounting & Finance Department
* Building and maintaining financial models to predict future outcomes
* Presenting financial information to non-financial staff and stakeholders
* Business Partnering with a wide range of leadership teams
* Supporting the annual budgeting and forecasting processes including the analysis and forecast across multiple areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet
* Presenting results and obtain commentary for variances from Senior Leadership.
* Identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes
* Supporting the wider Finance team on the timely completion of month end including preparing and sending relevant month end reports to various parties across the business
* You will also support the annual cost setting process and be able to analyse, interpret and concisely present large volumes of financial data to both Finance and non-Finance leaders and stakeholders
* Assisting with ad hoc financial projects and analyses
* Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Finance Analyst' should have:
* An educational background in Finance, Accounting or a related field
* Ideally be studying towards or qualified in ACCA/CIMA
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Passionate about business partnering and process improvements
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities
* Experience with financial modelling and forecasting
* A solid understanding of financial regulations and standards
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
