PK Education are working with a number of welcoming primary and specialist settings across Leeds who are looking for a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a background in:
Psychology
Speech & Language
SEN support
Care or support work
The Role:
Supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN)
Working 1:1 and in small groups to develop communication skills
Following guidance from SENCOs and external therapists
Creating a supportive, structured learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children or young people (school or care setting)
Strong communication and patience
A genuine interest in SEN and child development
Graduates in Psychology or related fields are encouraged to apply
