Theirmitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry, and as part of their continued growth, they are actively seeking a General Foreman to join their delivery team in the Midlands.
This is a full-time permanent position based in the Solihull area.
Your new role
As General Foreman, your responsibilities will include:
1. Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
2. Planning daily and weekly works to achieve programme milestones
3. Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality procedures
4. Managing permits, inspections and method statements (RAMS)
5. Driving productivity, quality workmanship and site discipline
6. Supporting a positive, collaborative and safety-first site culture.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
7. Proven experience as a Foreman within the civil engineering industry, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects
8. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
9. Excellent knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety procedures
10. Strong leadership,munication and organisational skills
11. CSCS, SSSTS/SMSTS and First Aid
12. Full UK driving licence.
