Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The purpose of the Electrical Engineer is to provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance for building engineering systems and services.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain low voltage (LV) electrical systems and perform PPM routines.
* Repair and maintain electrical equipment and fixtures.
* Perform EICR Testing.
* Ensure compliance with BS7671 wiring regulations.
* Liaise with helpdesk for task responses.
* Maintain site logbooks, compliance certification, and produce reports.
* Participate in emergency call-out services.
* Emergency Lighting Testing and Light Fitting Replacement, including Safe Isolation.
Essential Qualifications
* City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
* City and Guilds Level 3 certificate in the requirements for electrical installations BS 7671 (18th Edition)
* City & Guilds 2391 inspection & testing.
* Driver’s License (No more than 6 points)
* Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
* IPAF & PASEMA (Desirable but not essential)
