Catering Assistant
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work at Ada Belfield a 40 bedded Residential Home for Older Adults with a cafeteria with 30+ covers which is open to the general public.
You will be working assisting with the preparation, cooking and service of meals for 40 residents. You will also be taking, preparing and serving orders for customers to the 30+ cover cafeteria open to the general public and operating the till.
You will be required to maintain all hygiene standards in the unit and have a good customer service approach.
The ideal candidate will be part of the Catering team that provide high quality freshly prepared food to meet individual’s nutritional and dietary needs and promote the café as a vibrant community resource.

The job may require unsocial hours working including weekends and Bank Holidays. Shifts may include mornings and afternoons. Payment arrangements will be detailed in any contract offer made.
If you do not already hold NVQ II Food Hygiene you will be required to successfully complete it upon appointment.
