Community Assistant
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Community Assistant to join our team in providing care and support within the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for assisting clients and ensuring their well-being. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
Areas we cover: Wolverhampton, Perton, Wombourne, Codsall, Willenhall and Bilston, Penkridge
Responsibilities:
* Assist in creating and implementing care plans for clients
* Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with individual needs
* Support clients with daily activities such as meal times, personal hygiene, and social interactions
* Drive clients to appointments or outings as required
* Maintain accurate records of care provided
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and colleagues
* Utilise app for documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
* Proficient in English, both spoken and written
* Experience in home care or a care home environment is advantageous
* Valid driving licence with the ability to drive
* Strong communication skills with the ability to interact compassionately
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting
