Travel Claims Administrator - Cardiff (Hybrid)

IMG is seeking a Travel Claims Administrator for a Hybrid role based in our Cardiff Office. This is a 4-month temporary, Full-Time position, Monday to Friday, with a salary range of £20,319 to £22,000 (dependent on experience and pro-rata).

The Travel Claims Administrator acts as the first point of contact for incoming calls, faxes, and emails, referring inquiries to the appropriate Claims Handler when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as the first contact point for calls, faxes, and emails, directing inquiries appropriately.
2. Set up new cases and claims on the Trident Travel system.
3. Perform administrative duties such as managing external post, claims settlements, and attaching mails in the system.
4. Verify policy details and issue the correct claims forms.
5. Support Claims Handlers as directed.
6. Communicate professionally and courteously with all stakeholders.
7. Handle policyholder and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
8. Ensure all information complies with policy terms.
9. Document all call and email interactions accurately.
10. Adhere to service standards and support provided accordingly.
11. Record all communications in the system.
12. Perform additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor or the Head of Operations.


Candidate Profile

* Experience in insurance, assistance, or similar (preferred).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure within a team.
* Customer service experience is beneficial but not essential.
* Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
* Previous administrative experience (preferred).
* Flexibility to start and end later in the day.
