What does this role involve?
You will be joining a cross functional product team, working in a fast-paced environment, where you’ll be delivering the data requirements to support the smooth running of our products and services.
You will design and build complex Oracle PL/SQL procedures that drive new APIs, transforming requirements into efficient, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
You will work with existing data structures to deliver robust, high-performing database solutions that underpin critical business operations.
You will participate in regular sprints and ceremonies, contributing to a culture of transparency, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
You will be mentoring and coaching fellow engineers, helping to shape a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
Who are we looking for?
Your proven, in-depth commercial experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Unit testing, Git and Toad, will allow you to become quickly productive in this role.
Your experience with the extract, transform, load (ETL) function for processing data and preparing reports will be fundamental to your success.
Your ability to work with and bring on your peers and colleagues will help deliver continued growth of the team and department.
Your Python knowledge will empower you to design and deliver robust, high-performing APIs that seamlessly connect systems.
And what is the technical environment?
This includes: Oracle, PL/SQL, ETL, Toad, Git, Jira, BitBucket, Agile, UT PL/SQL (Unit testing framework), Azure DevOps, API first, MongoDB, PostGres, Python
This role will involve on-call working on a rota basis (24/7)
To be successful in this role you will be required to pass an enhanced security vetting process.
