About the Role
We are seeking reliable, responsible, and attentive Exam Invigilators to join our secondary school in the London Borough of Southwark. This is a great opportunity to support our students during their GCSE and internal exams, ensuring that examinations run smoothly, fairly, and in full compliance with exam regulations.
Key Responsibilities

I ensure all exam procedures are followed in line with JCQ (Joint Council for Qualifications) regulations.
*
I set up examination rooms, distribute papers, and collect scripts securely at the end of each session.
*
I monitor students throughout exams, maintaining a calm, supportive, and professional environment.
*
I assist with student entry and seating arrangements to ensure examinations start promptly.
*
I report any irregularities or concerns to the Exams Officer immediately.
About You
*
I am punctual, organised, and have excellent attention to detail.
*
I remain calm under pressure and treat all students fairly and respectfully.
*
I am confident in following clear instructions and maintaining confidentiality.
*
Experience working in schools or exam settings is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided.
Requirements
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
✅ Right to work in the UK
✅ Availability during key exam periods (May–June and November–December)
