Job Description
Effectively deliver a range of functions within the Internal Audit Section of East Ayrshire Council by supporting the provision and continuing development of a quality Internal Audit Service to all clients. This role aims to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the key objectives outlined in Internal Audit Plans and the Community Plan.

The Individual
This is a permanent, full-time position based at Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The working hours are 35 hours per week, Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. The salary range is £47,848 to £52,325 per annum.
The workstyle is 'Mobile' — 20-49% of your time will be spent in the office or at other work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed location 1 to 2.5 days per week, with the remaining time working from home or other locations as required. It is expected that all office-based employees (excluding those working in schools) will work towards the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other locations.
