No two days are the same in self storage but your focus each day will be:
* Responding promptly and professionally to customer enquiries by phone, email, and in person
* Building rapport and identifying the best storage solutions for each customer including selling merchandise and insurance.
* Following up on enquiries and converting leads into confirmed bookings
* Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
* Handling customer check‑ins/check‑outs and process payments
* Supporting light marketing activity to help generate new enquiries
* Handling customer complaints, communicating and escalating all issues to the Store Manager as necessary.
* Complying with all operational procedures, ensuring operational standards are maintained.
* Ensuring that all packaging stock is ordered and kept up to date.
* Taking responsibility for the safety and security of the store and customers.
* Complying with all company policies and procedures.
We're looking for someone with:
* Previous experience in sales or customer service (phone, retail, hospitality, or service industry)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Confidence to follow up and close sales without being pushy
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Computer literate with experience using email, CRM, or booking system
* Self motivated, reliable, and able to work independently as well as in a team
