ROLE INTRODUCTION
Working with the Director of Process Transformation lead on project Aurora, this role is responsible for assisting with the Financial Estimating and Costing processes in the Radius application. The position will be part of the Project Aurora team supporting the roll out of the Radius solution to European Graphic Packaging sites.
What is project Aurora?
As part of GPI’s Vision for 2025, Project Aurora is focused on standardising our ERP systems across all GPI’s European sites to optimise our Production Facilities and improve visibility of key financials to plant level. This will help the business deliver the quality of service our customers expect of us and enables us to measure our performance against business critical KPI’s.
This project will consolidate all our European business processes onto the Radius systems.
JOB PURPOSE
You will be the financial business process lead for all Radius financial transactions and provide accurate and timely milestones within the project structure.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* collaborate with the Radius process leads with key information to build a solid master estimate platform for each European site.
* assist with the standard costing structure to fit the Aurora solution link to the SAP S4 general ledger structure.
* support all Radius financial touch points in all key processes whilst ensuring compliance with SOX requirements
* assist with standard costing set-ups and aligning them to support both local and group statutory audit requirements.
* proactive business support and financial analysis to the Project Radius solution in Aurora.
* the Finance Lead in Project Aurora – Compliance UK in maintaining effective internal controls relating to:
* Oxley
* participate in the continuous analysis and
* design development
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
* To be determined through annual performance goals
TECHNICAL SKILLS/QUALS
* Finance or Accounting Qualification – desirable.
* A minimum of 2+ years of experience in a finance role with a track record of leading projects from a finance standpoint ideally in a Manufacturing or FMCG environment
* A strong understanding of ERP systems and experience in ERP implementation
* Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
* Knowledge of SOX and SAO - extremely beneficial
* Comfortable in working in a fast-paced environment and working to tight reporting deadlines (Corporate reporting environment)

* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to give clear written and verbal instructions, clearly understand and explain technical and commercial issues to customers and have a good understanding of procedures and processes.
