Overview
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and meticulous Industrial Cleaner to join our team, to ensure that all equipment and the Production work areas are clean and safe. You’ll strip down mobile equipment and reassemble after cleaning and checking condition. You’ll communicate any issues to a supervisor or team leader and provide regular updates on progress and solutions. You’ll maintain an adequate stock of cleaning items ensuring those used are included as acceptable materials on the relevant Standard Operating Procedure.
Responsibilities
* Strip down mobile equipment and reassemble after cleaning, checking condition.
* Communicate issues to a supervisor or team leader and provide regular updates on progress and solutions.
* Maintain an adequate stock of cleaning items in line with relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
* Assist with cleaning and monthly intensive clean downs outside of the Production areas as required.
* Work in a safe manner and observe all company safety rules, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Person
* Experience of cleaning in an industrial environment or “clean room” setting is advantageous.
* Good level of general fitness to undertake manual handling.
* Experience of cleaning machinery is advantageous.
* Experience of working on own initiative as well as part of a team.
