Assistant Accountant- Craigavon Reed Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well-known distribution organisation based in the Craigavon Area. Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Offering a competitive salary and supportive working environment, the successful applicant will be responsible for completing the following duties: * Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts * Monthly accruals & prepayments * Processing of sales and purchase invoices as required * Supplier payments, bank reconciliations, expenses and credit card postings * Balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany transactions and journal postings * Preparation of VAT, intrastat and EC sales returns * Support in the preparation of year end statutory accounts and audit including ad hoc analysis * Other ad hoc financial duties as required.
