GK Engineering & Design Ltd is seeking a Steel Fitter Working Supervisor.
We are a well-established company based in Essex with extensive experience in the architectural and secondary steelwork industry. We design, manufacture, and install for various Residential and Commercial buildings within the Greater London area.
We are looking for a full-time, permanent Site Supervisor to join our busy team, overseeing multiple sites and operations. The successful candidate will manage a team of up to 6, reporting to a contracts manager responsible for several sites.
The role offers a competitive salary, overtime opportunities, and benefits including a company van and Diesel Card. A CSCS card and driving license are essential. The site location will be matched to the candidate's experience and proximity.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
* 8-hour day shift, Monday to Friday
* Overtime as required
Requirements:
* SSSTS certification and relevant experience
* Excellent communication skills with clients and on-site labor
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experience in installing architectural and structural steelwork
* Proficiency with power tools such as grinders and drills
* CSCS card is mandatory; additional cards like SMSTS, PASMA, and IPAF CPCS are advantageous
