Voids Chargehand
We are looking for someone to join our busy in-house team to support the delivery of our Void properties repair service. You will help the Team Leaders effectively manage the operational delivery of repairs to the council's tenanted and empty properties with a focus on the work of external responsive and voids contractors.
Working with other parts of the service you will help to achieve resource efficiencies and improve productivity through the effective management and administration of both the internal and external workforce and systems. Ideally, we are looking for a tradesperson with some supervisory/management experience and of using repairs software systems.
You must have a working knowledge and understanding of the relevant Health and Safety Legislation and be able to always demonstrate safe working practices. You will need to find solutions to everyday problems as they arise. You must also have effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent personal organisational skills and be able to supervise and organise the operational delivery of the work of your team.
* 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £37,280 to £40,777
* 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent)
