As part of this transition and our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Laravel Developer to join our team in a dedicated, full-time, in-house role. You will play a pivotal part in building and maintaining a robust, secure and scalable web platform. Responsibilities Lead the redevelopment and ongoing maintenance of our platform using Laravel Collaborate with the in-house team to implement secure, optimised code for customer-facing and internal features Build out scalable systems to support large volumes of traffic and competition entries Work on frontend components using Livewire, Tailwind, and FilamentPHP Integrate and manage payment systems, entry logic and instant-win mechanisms Ensure security best practices are followed (e.g. customer data, fraud prevention) Maintain high-quality, readable, and well-documented code Participate in code reviews, architectural decisions and system planning Requirements 5 years' professional experience in web development, specifically working with high-traffic Laravel applications Strong knowledge of: PHP, Laravel, MySQL JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 Laravel Livewire Tailwind CSS FilamentPHP Experience in API integrations, database optimisation, and server-side security Comfortable with Git version control and agile development practices Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team Good communication and problem-solving skills Desirable Prior experience working on online competition, prize draw, or e-commerce websites Understanding of competition compliance, spend caps, and fair play enforcement Experience with Laravel-based admin tools or CMS alternatives
