Are you a highly organised, detail‑focused administrator with strong data accuracy and communication skills? We are seeking a Vetting Administrator to join our Force Vetting Unit at Nottinghamshire Police.
Responsibilities
* Process vetting applications and ensure all information is accurate and compliant with vetting standards
* Maintain and update confidential vetting databases and records
* Determine appropriate vetting levels and issue application information to candidates
* Liaise with applicants, internal teams and external partners to gather and verify information
* Monitor vetting renewals and ensure all personnel hold valid clearance
* Support recruitment activity by managing vetting workloads and meeting deadlines
* Assist with vetting reviews and integrity checks
* Provide advice and respond to routine vetting enquiries
Qualifications
* Experience in administrative roles with strong data entry and record‑keeping skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems
* Ability to manage high volumes of work while meeting deadlines
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive information
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders
* Ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
* A proactive, reliable and team‑focused approach
