The Role
As a Security Officer at Hotel Café Royal, you are the custodian of our property and assets. Through your professionalism, vigilance, and passion for safety, you will help maintain the highest standards of security for our guests, employees, and visitors. Your presence will ensure that everyone within the hotel enjoys a safe, comfortable, and secure environment at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular and thorough patrols of all hotel areas, ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
Monitor and respond promptly to alarms, emergency situations, and safety hazards.
Assist guests and employees during incidents and emergency situations with confidence and composure.
Respond to and investigate any accidents, incidents, or security breaches, preparing accurate and detailed reports.
Maintain awareness of all security systems and surveillance operations throughout the property.
Support other hotel departments with guest or staff security needs while delivering a professional and discreet level of service.
Uphold all safety and security protocols and contribute to continuous improvements in procedures and guest experience.
Your Profile
A natural instinct for providing a luxurious level of service that is calm, confident, and professional, with impeccable grooming standards.
Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role, ideally gained within a 5-star hotel or luxury environment .
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues from around the world.
Holds a valid SIA License (essential).
Highly observant with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety and security.
Flexible and reliable, able to work 12-hour shifts on a 4-on / 4-off pattern, including nights and weekends.
