Our Radiology Department currently has an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant. Continue your journey with us while we support you to be your best. Our hospital is based within a stone's throw of the historic City of Oxford, a world‑renowned centre of excellence for surgical and medical expertise.
We are proud of the wonderful environment and team we have established, providing our patients with first‑class care. We operate 6 well‑equipped operating theatres with 64 well‑presented en‑suite rooms across 2 floors. You would work within the busy Radiology department supporting our clinical staff with bookings.
Responsibilities
* Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.
* Put people at ease when they visit your department.
* Answer the phone, dealing with enquiries and booking appointments.
* Welcome patients in person, and direct them to the appropriate waiting rooms.
* Help the department run smoothly by preparing clinical paperwork and referral forms.
Qualifications
* Great communication skills.
* The ability to explain sensitive or complicated information in a clear, sympathetic and easily understood way.
* Ideally, experience of working within Healthcare administration or a relevant reception environment.
* Good IT and keyboard skills.
