This is an exciting opportunity for a Private Family Partner to be part of a highly respected, boutique family law practice.

Who we’re looking for
* 4 PQE up to Partner level
* Able to run your own private family caseload
* Commercially minded with strong billing habits
* Positive, proactive and open-minded
* Enjoys flexibility and remote work
* Strong communicator, confident with client conversations
* Legal 500 experience (desired but not essential)
* Full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week)
What you’ll be doing
* Manage a caseload of private family law matters
* Deliver commercially aware, client‑centred advice
* Build strong relationships and contribute to establishing the brand locally
* Maintain accurate time recording and billing
* Work within a national family team across Manchester, London and Leeds
* Focus solely on fee earning — no BD, no advocacy
* Participate in team video calls and receive remote support and mentoring
Salary & Benefits
* £60,000–£90,000 depending on experience
* 1 day per week in the Birmingham office (or once a fortnight/month depending on distance)
* Option to work 4 days and get paid for 5
* 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (higher allowances possible depending on performance)
* One‑week Christmas shutdown
