About you We’re looking for an experienced, client-facing Senior Project Manager on a 12 month fixed-term maternity contract. This is a senior role, reporting into the Operations Director. You will manage projects, acting as the connector and guardian between our internal team and clients, with a specific focus on ensuring project delivery meets the highest client servicing standards. Success in this role will be measured through client retention and positive sentiment, through high levels of client servicing, understanding and relationship building. You will always want to do better and will actively track commercial data, team sentiment and client feedback to improve our services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex delivery, senior client relationships, and balancing creative ambition with commercial reality. About the role Project Management : You’ll be responsible for project delivery, setting standards, suggesting and implementing efficiencies and continually striving for excellence. Independently manage projects, ensuring that teams are clear on the objectives, remain motivated and work efficiently and effectively. Continually improve and implement processes that support an efficient, agile and reliable delivery of projects for our clients and internal team. Ensure projects are set up for success with trackers, tools and documentation and that resource is secured. Establish clear communication processes & updates to ensure team-wide visibility, transparency and efficiency. Proactively and regularly audit your projects, run project wash-ups and reconcile budgets, reporting up to the Ops Director and sharing any learnings to take forward. Manage resourcing and work with the Ops Director regarding capacity planning. Work with the Ops Director to expand our contact list of freelancers through proactive meetings in collaboration with our project leads. Client Management : You will sit across all key accounts within the agency, building relationships with senior stakeholders and ensuring client satisfaction. As a key point of contact between the internal team and clients, you will work closely with the relevant Project Lead to ensure we are delivering high levels of client servicing and satisfaction. Balancing the client’s requests against Digi commercial objectives, ensuring scope creep is managed effectively Understanding of the client’s business and challenges through an always-on approach, identifying opportunities to expand our partnerships. You will be great at digesting client feedback and sharing it with the team in an action-oriented and professional manner to improve the output. Commercials : You will own your project budgets and scopes, handle revenue tracking and identify new opportunities. Leading on scoping and budgeting for all projects, with input from the relevant stakeholders. Ensuring everything is clearly documented and the agency is protected. Confidently negotiating with third parties to guarantee preferential rates. Understanding of, and adherence to, the agency's financial KPIs, tracking and reporting on these in weekly finance meetings. Ability to balance the client’s requests against the agency's own commercial objectives. Working with the Ops Director to ensure legal compliance and commercial protections for the agency before a project commences. Your Experience You will have worked in a project management role within an agency for a minimum of 5 years, holding a senior position for at least 2 years. You will be able to effectively and independently manage any kind of project, but with a focus on research, strategy and creator workstreams. You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and workload with a solutions focused approach. You have a high level of commercial and financial acumen in relation to project budgets. You may have a project Management Qualification /Certification or a proven track record managing complex projects. Your Skills An articulate and clear communicator able to communicate at speed, but with impeccable attention to detail across all of your output. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Not afraid to be forthcoming with feedback, opinions and ideas that have the potential to push the work further. Ability to independently manage multiple diverse and senior stakeholder groups. Managing and mitigating risks or issues, escalating as required and providing appropriate options to self-solve situations. Curiosity towards emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in creative and digital project management. Ability to work on new platforms/tools and understand project financials/metrics. You understand the importance of diversity and inclusion and what it means to the advertising and creative industries, as well as wider society. Hybrid Working We offer hybrid working with office days currently at 1 day per week. We are able to offer the role to candidates outside of London as long as you can travel to the office to meet the minimum days and for any additional ad hoc needs.
