Job Description Based at Arbroath Academy, Glenisla Drive, Arbroath. This job is Workstyle 1 - Fixed In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location. Duties will include: Assisting principal teachers of science subjects with classroom demonstrations of science experiments and techniques as requested. Assisting principal teachers of science subjects with stocktaking, requisitioning of chemicals and apparatus. Preparing materials and equipment, for science kits as required. Preparing stock solutions including botanical materials and replenishment of reagent bottles. Assisting principal teacher in the storage, control and disposal of chemicals. Setting up and dismantle science apparatus and equipment and organise its storage. Maintaining aquaria and vivaria and all animals and plants in the science department.
