We’re looking for a Financial Systems Analyst based in Glasgow to support our core financial platforms, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:
6. As part of the IT function you will work alongside a team of systems analysts dedicated to the support and lifecycle management of our core financial systems; M3 CloudSuite, Basware, and Tagetik.
7. Manage incidents and progress customer requests in line with Service Levels, following ITIL best practice
8. Investigate problems, implementing permanent solutions to recurring issues and suboptimal workarounds, with a focus on automation and AI integration
9. Adhere to change management and security protocols to protect the production environment and maintain compliance.
10. Work closely with finance users to identify and implement system improvements, ensuring services remain aligned with business priorities
11. Provide technical support and expertise to system users, and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices
12. Ensure financial systems comply with financial regulations and reporting standards
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
13. Understanding of accountancy concepts and processes either from study or with experience in a finance role is essential
14. Degree qualification desirable; preferably with coverage of accountancy and / or IT
15. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
16. Excellent communication skills
17. Experience working in customer-focused environments and managing stakeholder expectations
18. Ability to identify recurring issues and drive change to meet reduction targets
19. Experience with process automation tooling preferred but not essential
20. Experience working in an IT Service desk or similar role would be advantageous
