We’re looking for a Financial Systems Analyst based in Glasgow to optimise our core financial platforms, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do:
6. Work closely with finance users to identify and resolve issues across M3 CloudSuite, Basware, and Tagetik, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of financial data
7. Manage incidents and problems, implementing permanent solutions to recurring issues and suboptimal workarounds
8. Represent the team in major incident and operational meetings, providing updates on finance-related system issues
9. Adhere to change management and security protocols to protect the production environment and maintain compliance
10. Identify and implement opportunities for system improvement, with a focus on automation and AI integration
11. Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions and review documentation for potential impacts
12. Provide technical support and expertise to system users, and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices
13. Ensure financial systems support compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
14. Degree qualification desirable; part-qualified finance certification (CIMA, ACCA, ICAS) preferred
15. Experience across operational finance processes including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance
16. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in performance tuning and optimisation
17. Familiarity with financial reporting regulations and system optimisation best practices
18. Experience working in customer-focused environments and managing stakeholder expectations
19. Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and drive change through to completion
20. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a history of becoming a subject matter expert
21. Experience with process automation tooling preferred
