This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high‑profile litigation within one of the UKs most respected claimant practices.</p><h3>The role</h3><p>You’ll work within a dedicated Group Actions team handling a mix of individual medical negligence claims and large-scale group litigation. The work is varied, technically challenging and often high‑impact. You’ll manage your own caseload while also supporting senior lawyers on major national cases.</p><p>Examples of recent work include:</p><ul><li>Claims involving paediatric and spinal surgery</li><li>Group actions relating to defective medical devices</li><li>Contaminated blood and human growth hormone claims</li><li>Representing families in the Thirlwall Inquiry</li><li>Aviation disaster litigation involving international elements</li></ul><p>Day‑to‑day responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Providing clear, empathetic advice to clients</li><li>Running your own caseload of medical negligence and group action matters</li><li>Assisting on high‑value, high‑profile litigation</li><li>Seeking interim payments to support client rehabilitation</li><li>Working closely with experts, counsel and stakeholders</li><li>Contributing to team development and knowledge sharing</li></ul><h3>About you</h3><ul><li>3‑5 years PQE in medical negligence</li><li>Experience with complex litigation</li><li>Group actions or product liability experience is helpful but not essential</li><li>Strong organisational skills and commercial awareness</li><li>Able to work both independently and collaboratively</li></ul></div>
