Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Levenshulme Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Description Job Duties: The Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist with classroom management, provide one-to-one support to students, help with the preparation of learning materials, and contribute to creating a positive learning environment for students. Required Qualifications: A minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths, along with relevant experience working with children or young people in an educational setting. Education: A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred. Experience: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role within a school setting is desirable. Knowledge and Skills: Good communication skills, the ability to work well in a team, patience, and a passion for supporting the educational development of students. Preferred Qualifications: Additional qualifications in child development or education would be advantageous. Working Conditions: The Teaching Assistant role is based within a school environment, following the school calendar, and working during regular school hours.
