Contract: Fixed Term Contract – ending 31 December 2025. Potential to extend after the festive period.
Whilst we can’t make any promises right now, there is often potential to take on seasonal colleagues on a permanent basis after the initial festive contract.

Become a Seasonal Retail Sales Assistant
As a Seasonal Sales Assistant, you’ll join our merry crew and help make this holiday season the best one yet! You will be the heart of our retail store, welcoming customers with a friendly smile and inspiring them to read, learn, create or play. The role is physically demanding with heavy stock, deliveries and frequent use of stairs. Our supportive team will lend a helping hand.
Your Festive Mission
* Excite and Delight: Spread joy with your friendly service and inspire customers to read, learn, create or play with our magical products.
* Loyalty Ambassador: Help customers craft a Christmas well spent and earn more bang for their money at The Works.
* Merchandising Marvel: Follow planograms for key product areas and use creativity to attract customers in non‑planogrammed spaces.
* Deliveries: Manage heavy deliveries, price & label products, sort items onto shop floor displays and keep the stockroom neat.
* Have Fun: Be your authentic elf‑self and enjoy connecting with our brand, colleagues and customers.
