About The Role
This position involves supporting commercial colleagues by handling administrative tasks related to order‐winning activities, promoting Portakabin products and services, and contributing to business development.
Compensation
Annual salary up to £25,000 (dependent on skills and experience) plus commission of up to £6,000 per annum. Annual leave is 25 days plus bank holidays, with the opportunity to purchase an additional 5 days.
Responsibilities
* Execute all commercial administrative activities accurately and efficiently.
* Collaborate with team members across different functions to support business development, commercial and administrative activities aimed at achieving order targets.
* Record the progress of each sales opportunity on CRM.
* Build and provide quotations for low‑value SMB opportunities, following up and negotiating to close orders.
* Identify and resolve issues promptly, escalating where necessary to improve processes and share learnings.
* Prioritise customer service to maximise satisfaction and ensure continuity of service for future order‑winning opportunities.
* Maintain effective relationships across teams and respond to administrative queries through appropriate communication channels.

Ideal Candidate
* Administrative experience in a customer service environment.
* Experience in a target‑driven environment.
* Experience of business development activities such as cold calling.
* Minimum GCSE or equivalent level of education, including Maths and English.
* Competent in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Willingness to develop into this role if all criteria aren’t met (we love developing people).
