The successful candidate can expect to work 4 days per week (28 hours excluding breaks). Shifts will be allocated over 4 days out of 7 including weekends as required. However, we are open to discussing a variety of hours and days.

The salary for this part-time position is £21,840 per annum, paid weekly. This is pro-rata the full-time equivalent salary.

About The Role
* To assist with routine and remedial work to ensure equipment and facilities are maintained.
* To assist with ensuring adequate and appropriate spares and parts stock and records are kept up to date.
* To assist in ensuring all emergency equipment is maintained and in working order.
* To ensure that emergency procedures are effective, implemented, and appropriate training is carried out.
* To assist with the maintenance of a safe environment in compliance with health, safety, fire, hygiene and security legislation and company polices and procedures.
* To assist with effective communication and relationships with other hotel departments, suppliers and agencies to maintain an effective operation and ensure guest satisfaction.
* To assist in promoting and encouraging a harmonious working environment where all staff are treated with respect and dignity.
* Any other duties as required by management.
Required Criteria
* A right to work within the United Kingdom
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good communication, numeracy and IT skills
* Educated to Level 2 (GCSE Grades A-C) or the equivalent in English and Mathematics
* Previous experience in a relevant role such as maintenance person, tradesperson, caretaker, or facilities
* Previous experience gained within a commercial building
Desired Criteria
* Previous experience in a Hotel setting or other hospitality environment
* Qualifications and/or experience in a trade such as joinery, plumbing, or electrical
Skills Needed
Managing Contracts, Problem Solving, Administrative skills
