Job Description
Senior GIS Engineer - 3-month contract - £650 per day (Outside IR35) - Farnborough/Hybrid (3 days a week on site)
* 5 years minimum development experience - Must have hands-on development experience working with geospatial data (eg, ArcGIS, PostGIS)
* Experience in electronic navigation charts
* Experience in the maritime domain highly desirable
* Experience in optimisation problems and solvers highly desirable
Our client is leader within the defense and national security sector delivering technical solutions which underpin communications systems used by organisations within highly secure environments - they are currently recruiting for a senior engineer with geospatial development experience to join their team and deliver a key initiative regarding maritime electronic navigation systems.
