About the Role:
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, providing high-quality therapy services to children and young people with complex needs, including neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), developmental trauma, and complex disabilities. You will be a key part of a multidisciplinary team, focused on delivering therapeutic services to support young people’s growth, learning, and emotional development.
As part of an ongoing initiative to improve work/life balance, we are trialing the 4-Day Working Week (4DWW), meaning you will work one day less each week, maintaining full pay. This trial is a chance to become part of an innovative team, and if successful, it will be rolled out more widely.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and shape therapeutic services, helping to create nationally significant resources in a transformative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Therapeutic Services: Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of young people, focusing on enhancing physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.

* Individualized Plans: Develop, implement, and review individual therapy plans to support each young person’s progress and independence.
* Therapeutic Approaches: Use a systemic and formulation-based approach to address the complex needs of young people, including those with autism and trauma.
* Multi-Agency Collaboration: Work collaboratively with families, external professionals (e.g., social workers, psychologists), and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible care for young people.
* Service Improvement: Contribute to the development and improvement of therapeutic services, sharing best practices and ensuring services are innovative and effective.
Who We’re Looking For:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who has a clear vision of what outstanding therapeutic services should look like and has the drive and motivation to make a significant difference. You must have the resilience to work with young people facing complex challenges and the ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
* Relevant OT qualification and HCPC registration.
* Experience working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities, autism, and trauma.
* Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A passion for supporting children and young people to achieve their full potential.
What’s in it for You?:
* Competitive salary with opportunities for career progression.
* £5,000 Welcome Bonus (paid in two instalments).
* £2,000 CPD allowance to support your professional development.
* Life Assurance and Pension Scheme with options to increase contributions.
* Flexible working with the 4-Day Working Week trial, offering more time for work-life balance (subject to successful completion of probation).
* Health and Wellbeing Benefits: Access to a range of first-class mental health support services, physical health checks, and family growth support.
* Additional Benefits: Cycle to Work schemes, Electric Car Purchase Scheme, and a flexible benefits platform that includes a wide range of health, wellbeing, and insurance options.
Why Apply?:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an environment that places the well-being and development of both its staff and young people at the heart of everything we do. You will have the resources, time, and support to implement your vision for therapeutic services while enjoying a flexible work schedule and great earning potential.
