City Health Care Partnership Primary Care Service has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, passionate colleague to work within our pharmacy team in Primary Care.

You will hold NVQ Level 3, BTEC, or equivalent qualifications and must have a current registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council to be considered for this role. Relevant post-qualification experience working within a multi-disciplinary team is also required.
The pharmacy technician will work under the supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day-to-day activities related to the supply of medicines in a primary care setting.
Under the supervision of a Senior Technician, the pharmacy technician will undertake roles associated with a Primary Care Technician, such as medicines reconciliation, answering medication queries, supporting patients to manage their medication, conducting medicines management audits, and ensuring services have standard operating procedures for handling medicines.
The technician will provide advice to patients on the use of medicines and general health and lifestyle matters, ensuring the delivery of patient-focused pharmacy services in accordance with the General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Conduct, NHS Pharmacy Regulations, Company SOPs and Policies, and statutory requirements.
The technician may represent the organization at local, regional, and national training groups when required.
