GSL Education is seeking a Primary Teacher to join a school in St Leonards, welcoming children across the primary age range with a broad and balanced curriculum.
About the Role:
This is a teaching role focused on delivering high-quality education, managing classroom behaviour positively, and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development. The school values collaboration, professionalism, and a commitment to nurturing every child’s potential.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
* Assess and track pupil progress and provide feedback
* Work closely with colleagues and support staff to enhance pupil outcomes
* Engage with parents and carers to support children’s learning and wellbeing
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching primary-aged children preferred
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Calm, approachable, and adaptable to different learning needs
* Enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
