Disaronno International UK Ltd is a premium spirits and wine business and the new UK entity of Italian multinational ILLVA Saronno S.p.A. and home of the world’s most famous Italian Liqueur Disaronno and the well-known coffee liqueur, Tia Maria.


They are now on a journey of expansion into new categories within spirits and also into previously untapped channels of distribution. The area of On Trade Key Accounts is the focus of this newly-created position.


Role: Responsibilities


* Support on National Accounts such as Greene King Value For Venues, Stonegate Trade On Tap & Heineken STAR within their Free Trade/L&T estate of their business
* Professional management of a portfolio of National Accounts in the On Trade to meet and exceed budgeted volume and value sales.
* Implement JBP’s for the year in line with DIUK focus & customer’s needs, whilst also ensuring to explore any potential opportunities out with the set JBP.
* Build and grow distribution and volume in National Accounts Free Trade/L&T for Disaronno, Disaronno Velvet, Tia Maria, Three Sixty Vodka, Isolabella Limoncello, Engine Gin and Cotswold’s Gin/Whiskey
* Grow relationships with Business Development teams in this customer base to grow and
* Build and develop exceptional multi-level relationships with key customers & stakeholders across departments
* Develop joint business plans with efficient and effective investment to drive growth.
* Drive the NPD items we are bringing to the market whilst protecting existing distribution and sales of the core range
* Differentiate our brands by creating and executing innovative in-account activation, striving to secure maximum visibility of our brands
* Create and manage your own journey plan to ensure the most efficient reach and coverage of these customers


Background and Skills


* Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing, or related field within the UK On/Off Trade
* Proven success of launching NPD into the UK
* Experience of spirits would be advantageous
* Entrepreneurial and ambitious self-starter with the ability to achieve targets and effectively organise own work schedule
* Strong commercial/financial understanding, together with intellect and curiosity to interpret performance, recommending appropriate actions
* Ability to manage projects and multi-task whilst building strong and positive relationships at all levels (internal and external)
* Able to build strong commercial relationships
* Able to flourish with minimal guidance, being pro active and able to handle uncertainty
* Passionate about spirits and wines
1. Location: This is a home-based role with extensive UK- wide travel, so being based somewhere centrally based would be ideal
