At Portsmouth Water, we are seeking a Network Engineer who is committed to building and maintaining secure, resilient, and innovative network solutions. As part of our expanding IT team, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join us.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting both traditional and cloud-based network environments, with a particular focus on Fortinet technologies and network security. If you are ready to make an impact, we want you on our team!
What will you be doing?
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain secure network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
* Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls and security appliances
* Monitor network performance and proactively resolve issues
* Support cloud networking (Azure) and hybrid connectivity
* Implement and maintain network security measures
What do you need?
Skills, Qualifications & Competencies
* Hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies
* Strong knowledge of traditional networking
* Experience with cloud networking
* Experience with network security, firewalls, and access control
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Relevant certifications are desirable
