Our client BAE Systems, a distinguished entity within the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a dedicated PCB Designer to join their team in Cowes (Isle of Wight) on a six-month contract. Key Responsibilities: Designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) to meet project specifications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design integrity and functionality. Ensuring PCB designs comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Creating and reviewing technical drawings, schematics, and documentation. Providing technical support throughout the design and production phases. Implementing feedback from testing to refine and optimise PCB designs. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in PCB design. Adhering to all security protocols and ITAR regulations. Job Requirements: Proven experience in PCB design within a relevant industry. Strong understanding of PCB layout tools and software. Knowledge of defence and security protocols, including BPSS and SC in Flight. Ability to work under ITAR and UK eyes only restrictions. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
