Role Overview
Working within the Maintenance Design and Assurance Team, you will help Yorkshire Water deliver reliable water and wastewater services to over 5.4 million residents and visitors. Your expertise will be applied to keep key electrical assets running safely, efficiently and sustainably.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement and optimise asset‑specific electrical equipment maintenance strategies and technical standards in line with Principal Electrical Engineer requirements.
* Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the asset preventative maintenance programme for electrical assets.
* Compile and maintain asset criticality and equipment risk registers.
* Lead reviews of electrical asset maintenance performance and reliability data to identify critical assets/risks to the business and initiate actions.
* Conduct root cause analyses (RCAs) for short, medium and long‑term issue resolution.
* Implement reliability improvement processes (RCM, criticality analysis, RCFA) across Yorkshire Water electrical assets.
* Provide documented evidence of improvements, savings and highlight risk to the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Degree in Electrical Engineering.
* Relevant electrical maintenance experience.
* Significant knowledge and application of reliability improvement techniques and practices.
* Broad experience with electrical equipment maintenance.
* Extensive experience using CMMS (e.g. SAP S4) to develop reliability reports and analyse data.
* Previous experience of supporting and embedding change.
* Current valid driving licence and flexibility to travel across Yorkshire.
Additional Skills & Benefits
