Overview
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our fantastic team at The Grange School. This role is focused on supporting young people to enable them to learn and thrive in the classroom and the wider school community. This is a great opportunity to work with a fantastic team of people. 28.75 hours per week.
Responsibilities
* Support and promote the development and learning of the children with a variety of academic, physical, emotional, behavioural and social needs.
* Assist teachers in providing a learning environment that enables all children to access the curriculum and learn to the best of their ability whilst supporting the aims of the school outlined in the school/learning team’s philosophy statement.
* Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people in accordance with our Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.

Who We Are Looking For

* have five GCSEs at A-C, including Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications/grades)
* enjoy working with and can relate to children in and out of the classroom
